Amanda Young, a 39-year-old fitness instructor in Brooklyn, lives with Trigeminal Neuralgia. It’s a disorder that causes facial pain so intense it’s commonly referred to as a the “suicide disease,” because many who live with the condition take their own lives rather than live with the pain.
