How to make an all natural healing balm Using Calendula flower infused oil + Lavender & Manuka essential oils.

I absolutely love this DIY organic healing balm and if memory serves me correctly the recipe came from my ‘Plunket Nurse’ 26 years ago. She was a wonderful women filled to overflowing with natural ways to keep mum and baby free from harsh chemicals.

To make the healing balm, you will need a double boiler and then:

– Add ½ cup infused oil
– 2 tbsp beeswax
– 2 tbsp shea butter
– 2 tbsp coconut oil
– 2 tbsp organic honey

Once melted and cooled slightly:
– add 10 drops lavender essential oil
– 10 drop Manuka essential oil
– 1 tsp vitamin E oil

Mix to combine then pour into container.
